Ever wonder what you are going to do today?  Well Omaha has found numerous ways to answer that question.  No matter what the season Omaha has something for all sports and recreation enthusiasts.    Omaha has more than 50 public and private golf courses, more per capita than any city its size.  And is home to the Cox Classic sponsored by Chevrolet golf tournament at Champions Run.

Those who prefer water sports take to area lakes for fishing, boating and swimming, or visit the Missouri, Elkhorn or Platte rivers.  Greater Omaha Features many private aquatic facilities and water parks as well as 19 city-operated swimming pools, as well as the CoCo Key Water Resort at the Holiday Inn Omaha Convention Center.

Omaha boasts over 80 miles of hard-surface bike trails, 63 miles of mostly shaded trail along the Wabash Trace Nature Trail, and Omaha is creating a 20-mile bicycle street route connection the Riverfront Trail with the Keystone Trail in central Omaha and the Creighton University campus to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo.

And During winter, sledding and cross-country skiing are popular.  And Omaha has many public ice skating rinks that offer skating year round.
