Lemonade Day is a free citywide community educational program designed to teach youth how to start, own and operate their own business - a lemonade stand. This May, tens of thousands of kids will set up lemonade stands across the Country and in Elkhart County, providing schools, businesses and families the unique opportunity to come together to help our next generation learn essential entrepreneurial skills and valuable life lessons. The lessons they learn now could prevent unemployment in Elkhart tomorrow!
Lemonade Day helps youth learn to:
- Set Goals
- Plan for Success
- Find Investors
- Advertise Their Product
- Build A Stand
- Purchase Supplies
- Make A Product
- Serve Their Customers
- Account For Sales and Expenses
- Open A Bank Account
- Give Back To The Community
To sign up your youth today, call Evelyn Johnston at 574-304-7148 or Beth Comer at 574-226-5045.
