My husband and partner, Dave Dove, put together this demonstration of the effectiveness of a 12mm wide angle lens for real estate photography http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7pt_KavWoQ. It is a solution for those hard to photograph rooms that are either too small or too big for a typical point and shoot camera. We use the 12mm lens on most of our tours and stills.

Kathy - does it matter what camera you use? We have Canon Rebel EOS. Is it also for it? What lenses would you recommend?

I think the Canon Rebel EOS has a 1.6 multiplier, so an 11mm lens should give you the same results that we get with the 12mm on our Nikon. I'm not familiar with the specific lenses for Canon cameras. Your local dealer should be able to give you some direction. Good luck.
