Can you believe this is the 1st day of Spring in Broken Arrow. Just yesterday I went on a 60 mile motorcyle ride and it was really nice. I'm sure these birds are speechless after beautiful weather one day and sleet, snow and 30 mile an hour wind the next. This is true beauty in the storm.
Hi Lisa, I'm curious as well...what kind of birds are they? Hopefully one day soon spring will be here for good. We had 60 degree weather on Friday and snow accumulation yesterday?! Hope you have a wonderful week.
I put these on Broken Arrow Fan Page and someone said there that they are "Cedar WaxWings". It was beautiful to see the large snow flakes coming down and then all of a sudden these birds landed in this tree.
Great shot Lisa, you are right they look confused. We had the same type of weather, sandals & shorts one day, coats and gloves the next!
Hi Lisa, I am glad you got the chance to get out and let the wind blow free around you. Sometimes telling your story is the first step to get out from underneath the burden you are carrying. Keep blogging and expect miracles.
Hi Lisa:
What a gorgeous picture. What kind of birds are those? They look so carefree.
Lisa, It does make you wonder what the birds are thinking. And it made me think of the expression "That weather is for the birds." Hmmm....
Lisa this is a fabulous picture - I love it! You captured this perfectly! Nature is such a welcome relief to our everyday lives. I love watching 'our' birds in the evening!
Lisa--Love this post. The birds know that despite the snow spring is on its way. I am so glad that you got out to enjoy the nice weather. I am waiting to hear how your appointment/lead from your blog went recently.
Lisa what a pretty picture! I too had my motorcycle out for the first time this season yesterday and can't wait to get out again!
Marvelous picture, Lisa. I think you have next year's Christmas card! Wouldn't that be fabulous?
Hi Lisa! I just found you from a reblog post about your 1st lead with AR. Congratulations! That is so cool. I don't have an associate for your area (not that I get them often) but if I have a lead I will make sure to send them your way. Way to go!
Beautiful photo. Spring keeps teasing us down south in Georgia too Lisa, Saturday was nice, but that mess you had Saturday was ours on Sunday and on into Monday. Hopefully another pretty day tomorrow, but then we're expecting rain and cold again on Thursday. Ugh. I'm really ready for summer myself.
