The City of Covington has announced they are making adjustments to the Permit Counter Hours.

 

New permit counter and building inspection hours went into place at the beginning of the year due to staff reductions at the City.  While the new building inspection hours will remain the same (Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m. - Noon and closed on Fridays and holidays) the City is still tweaking the permit counter hours to adjust for staff availability and efficiency.

 

The new hours for the permit counter are Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and closed on Fridays and holidays. The City still requires appointments to be made for permit services as appointments will be given priority over walk-in customers.

 

There may be times at which the permit counter will close unexpectedly due to unforseen circumstances.  Please be aware of this.  The City recommends that you call ahead to make appointments or see if the permit counter is open before you come.
