This Friday July 27, 2007 between 6-8pm myself and another agent have organized a Friday night open house at Las Palmas Ranchin Salinas. Due to the slower market lately, we thought that an evening open house with food, drinks, and a raffle would be lots of fun. Las Palmas Ranch is located just off hwy. 68 in Salinas, CA and overlooks the Salinas Valley. It is a wonderful development wit 1000 homes on a 1600 acre ranch with 800 open acres. Any one looking to purchase a home in this area, please stop by one of the 15 homes that will be on the tour.

I'd be there too, if I weren't 1,000 miles away. Please keep us posted on how this turns out for you. I've considered doing evening open houses here also, something to stand out from the rest. I just haven't had the need for an OH lately, but I think it would be a fun twist. Good luck to you. Looking forward to hearing about the results.

Well I am not a big open house fan and when I do an open house I want as much fanfare as possible. Since we took out a full page ad in the local paper and the ad is featured in the newspaper today (Wednesday) and we are serving FREE food and drink with a raffle at the end of $800..we should have traffic. The idea is to gain some additional exposure to the homes and some positive feedback for the homeowners. Hopefully, the people who stop by will be more open to talking about there needs/wants of purchasing a home and are not just there for the free food.

I think this will be a hit for this area. Since I do live in this subdivision, it will give me some great exposure too!

The twilight open house last night was a huge success. Agents were able to network and there was a huge increased awareness of the available homes at Las Palmas Ranch. There is tremendous value in this neighborhood; nice schools, nice parks, walking areas, valley views, peaceful, wildlife...and so much more! I would say that about 20-25 homes were open and agents/sellers had a lot of exposure and a certain buzz was created in the area. We plan to do this again soon.
