Sunday Photo . . And a Great Walk it Was

No leaves on the trees, the grass is barely green but people were out to enjoy Laurel View Country Club in Hamden, Ct. It was a great morning for a walk and I only messed it up a bit with some very rusty swings of my golf clubs. I was a much longer winter than I thought, and for the way it felt this morning it could be a long time before the game is back to where I want it to be. I am reluctant to accept the adage, "Things just aren't the way they used to be".

Some where way up at the top there is a green. My mind is working like The Little Engine that Could. "I think I can, I think I can, hopefully my legs will co-operate, after all I need to work in real estate this afternoon after walking a bit this morning.

My husband is the golfer in the family - he's chomping at the bit to get out there.  Keep swinging!

GOOD FOR YOU.  Get out there and shoot walk.  You can do it and you'll fee much better for it.  It's late now and I'm sure you've finished the hole.  You can be proud that you didn't use the time of year as an excuse not to get out there and shoot hit that golf ball and walk that green.

Ed, it was a really nice day to be out on the golf course.

Quick question, how many balls did you deposit into the pond in the first picture? :)

Margaret, in spite of the aches, it did feel great

Lenn, there were a couple of times when I felt that a double barrel club with more power was needed

Andrea, as I walked off the thought was maybe by September

Valerie, definitely spring there were flower buds started

George, none on that hole, I made par. For the whole round, lost one ball that went under some leaves
