Then your house hunt could be part of the next season of  HGTV's hit series, My First Place!

 

HGTV is looking for buyers who are searching for their first home within an hour and a half of Boston.

 

Taping will take place this spring and summer and will follow buyers and their agent while searching for their first house or condo, making an offer, and buying the home.

 

Singles, couples, and families are invited to apply.

 

So if you've got a bubbly personality and are eager to share your story with viewers - you could be a star!

 

The real estate agent and the buyers will get a DVD copy of the show and buyers get a gift for their new home.

Hi Andrea ~ That's Moving Up! I love that show and I love Doug.  Though I'll admit as I was watching it this afternoon I kinda hoped its day was coming to an end.  All this renovating of perfectly good spaces gives me the willies.

Hi Joan ~ It sure does! I think it would be a lot of fun. And it seems, unlike some of the shows that are in reality filmed after the fact, My First Place actually follows buyers and their agent through the real process.

Hi Marian ~ I hear ya! Somebody from my office was on one of the shows. She had some sort of job in TV before real estate so I think she was able to do a good job with the video they often ask for in advance.
