When you were out driving through a neighborhood and you were looking for a home to purchase what really caught your eye? For most of us it's the same thing it starts with curb appeal. How is your landscape? Is your home up-dated on the outside with new paint and in overall good condition? As a professional Realtor we should have an eye to counsel our clients or prospective clients to inform them on what to do to get the biggest bang for their buck.
Spruce it up on the outside and make it inviting. Sometimes you have to spend some money to get the outside looking good and now with spring here it makes it a great time to do that. I'm not saying to tear out all your existing landscape but you may need to do something to improve upon the landscape to make it eye catching. In some instances if you have a deferred property you may need to do some major improvements.
I do a walk through first before anything and discuss the possibilities for a faster sell so you can retain more of your equity. Remember as always Kitchen and bathrooms for a better return. And as far as the inside less is more. Make it inviting for a potential buyer and you will sell yours first. In Arvada Colorado Keith Ziegler. Bye for now.
