The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) announced last week that the federal govnernment used up all of the federal tax revenues from its sources this month.
Federal spending from now until the end of 2010 will be done with borrowed money, raised by selling Treasury Bills.
Forecasts show that the Chinese and Japanese financial systems will buy fewer US Treasury Bills in 2010, thereby forcing rates higher in an effort of attract funds from the Middle-East and Russia.
That means home loan rates will rise this summer.
