The golden rule of customer service   

Rule number one is the customer is always right.  

Rule numbers two if the customer is wrong refer to rule number one. 

The first rule of success is to create a customer citric business where the customer's needs are the number one priority of the business.  

A customer business citric creates a win -win business environment and satisfied customers.     

When the customer needs is the number priority of the business referrals and sales will follow.

Hi Lou and yes you are spot on but I disagree customers are not always right but they do pay the bills and they have choices. Stiil love the qoutes though.

Hi Lou, The customer is always right, even when they're wrong!  It's our job to help them and let them know we are there to serve.  You are so right, if we have provide good service, the reward will follow.

I agree, to a point, Lou...

Yes the customer is always right...

But there are two sides making choices,

they can choose to work or not with us, and we can choose to work or not work with them.

It is always better to qualify as soon as possible and choose your clients as carefully as they are in choosing you...
