FINALLY!!! There IS some justice in the world! Georgia lawmakers have taken on my absolutely biggest driving pet peeve -- lunkheads who drive too slow in the left lane (the PASSING lane for God's sake!!!).
Especially maddening is when they do it on Hwy. 515 (the only four-lane highway up here in the North Georgia mountains) and drive at or under the speed limit, driving side-by-side with a car in the right lane, thereby blocking everyone behind them as they drive for miles, completely oblivious to the seething drivers behind them. When I am finally able to get around these airheads (by passing illegally in the right lane), my angry glares are completely lost on them as they continue their spaced out drive through la-la-land.
Tickets and fines are not enough for these Goofy's...I think mandatory jail time would be more appropriate.

Make them ride on a "kiddie ride" (you know the one with the little cars on a single rail) that goes no more than 5 mph for a least an hour.

That's amazing! I wish they would do that here - it's gotten so bad that I think the lanes are actually reversed with the fastest being the right-hand lane. Drivers from certain states (which I won't mention) are the worst. They drive right past signs that say "keep right except to pass" and still stay in the left-hand lane. We have a lot of two-lane highways here so it is even worse!
