Health Care Reform Bill

By
Real Estate Agent with Prudential Verani Realty, Londonderry,New Hampshire

The Health Care Reform Bill was signed today, I've heard all the talk, debates etc. on the subject.  I'm willing to give the plan a shot, from what I understand!!!!!  I don't understand all the negative ranting going on.  Maybe its the delivery that turns me off. I do believe its a major change that we'll all endure some pains from.

I agree with you. But we HAVE to start somewhere. It would be impossible to let years and years go by waiting for the perfect bill while people are still suffering, because as you know, there is no such thing in a multi-pluralistic society.

We need to get the lump of clay onto the table, and then start molding it! But getting the clay on the table is the first step.

Great comparison. I'm a picture person, myself.

Everything has a cost, somewhere.

What many people are afraid of is that health care reform will be the straw that broke the camel's back. And eventually, it will bankrupt the country.

Me? Something needs to be done. It would cost even more the longer it is prolonged, so I'm glad that it finally got passed. But we'll have to see how it impacts the remainder of Obama's presidency - God forbid we have another 94 happen, then its passage will be for naught, because they will just go ahead and reverse it.

Those that have been strongly against it, in my inner circle--family and friends, have never been without health insurance so perhaps thats where their negativity is stemmed.  I worry for the people losing their jobs cause Cobra is a total joke.  Yea got no job..... but for $1,200/month you can continue basic coverage.

Agreed Ross. I think the delivery is part of the problem. I would like to see the Congress get in there and mold, shape and FIX everything that needs fixing and stop wasting my time and money with political drama...repeal will never happen so FIX it!

Sarah,

Thats how I feel. Nothing final. A drama--they should grow up. Country's got other issues just as important.
