This is a warning to anyone who on 3/22/2010 drove west on Bridgehaven Dr. in the Grand Lakes subdivision from early in the morning until about 6:30 PM to check your tires. The garbage collectors dropped what appeared to be a significant amount of glass in the street when they were picking up recycle items. I found the mess when I got home and luckly missed the huge spot of broken glass as I saw it when I turned onto Bridgehaven when I was heading home for the evening from work. I went to my home and got a broom and dust pan and spent a good 20 minutes sweeping up the mess. Yes that is correct 20 minutes and that is why I am warning everyone as there was a huge pile of glass in the street with some in the middle. My advice is for anyone who drove through this area to carefully check your tires as sometimes witha glass puncture it takes several days before one realizes they have a problem. I am sure the garbage comapny will claim no responsibility for this mess but I am sure it was them as a recycle container was found close to the pile of glass.
