As a Stager I advise clients on how to prepare their homes for sale.
It is my job to change the focus of their decorating fron 'living' to 'selling'.
There are different guide lines to follow so what works for living in the home may be totally wrong for selling the home.
This is the Great Room of a Townhouse.
What would you change in this room?
Buyer ready?
Here is a loft/hall area.
A girl's bedroom.
Would you make changes?
A family room area.
It works for the kids but will it work for a buyer?
Here is what we did ->
The sheers were removed from the windows to open up the feel of the room.
The love seat was removed and the chair moved to open up the entry and the traffic flow.
There is a sense of space and light.
You can see the fireplace.
The parrot moved to a bedroom window.
The work area was cleaned and decluttered.
The dining set went back to the empty dining room and a vignette was created for the eating area.
The loft area was decluttered.
A chair and lamp were added.
Now this area has a purpose. You can sit and read while you while you wait for the laundry.
A layer of drapery was removed to show off the window.
A chest was removed to create more space.
Colourful bedding was added for more WOW factor.
The area was decluttered.
A sofa was pulled out of a crawl space and accessorized.
Now it is ready for a family not just a play room.
Staging shows off the positives in your home. Our goal is to help you sell your home as quickly as possible for the best possible price.
