Are You An Advanced Thinker?

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

Mouse MazeReal estate in particular is a problem solver's dream work. So many things don't go as planned all the time you have to stay sharp on your toes. So

Are You An Advanced Thinker?

Going furthest in life whether it be real estate or other fields, means solving problems quickly and correctly. You don't ALWAYS come up with the right solution. But you keep tweaking and refining. Learn to see around walls like a mouse finding the best way through a maze to the cheese. Think out of the box with your solutions. Also think NO BOX like this little guy in the picture.

Practice critical thinking and get to better answers faster.

Gary:  I love how I get the opportunity to think on my feet in my business everyday.  It really is a hard thing for new agents to get used to, but with time and practice, we all get there.

Gary, terrific comments here.  Something that we all need to continue to work on and be able to reason and think through seemingly difficult problems.

There is no doubt that a good agent will have problem solving skills. It is inevitable some issue will come up on almost every transaction.

With me, it ain't over until the fat lady sings. There seems to always be a way to work around a problem. Of course, it helps if one can predict the problem before it happens and prevent it. For example, I routinely ask listing agents to produce a clean TDS and disclose unsavory facts in other documents because I know the lender will get a copy of the TDS. The last thing we need is funding condition repairs.

Hi Gary.........I always feel like I get paid to worry.  Worrying keeps me one step ahead of disaster.  I know this sounds odd, but when someone tells me not to worry.......that's when I take a closer look.

I always thought the Mortgage End was akin to being a financial detective.  I suppose I would fancy myself an Advanced Thinker.  And every problem contains its own solution.

Hi, Gary,

Sometimes we do have to come up with some creative thinking to solve the problems.  As you said, not always are they the correct answers, but we aren't perfect either.

Gary, problems arise unexpectedly at times and we must cope with it. Finding the solutions rather than dwelling on the problem will provide some sanity into our lives.

Gary problem solving skills are very important to achieving goals and this usually mean thinking outside of the box to arrive at solution.

I feel I have always been a lttle like the absent minded professor....shirt tail half out...glasses taped together, messy desk....But have been able to make solid business predictions and decisions by simply giving things the thought they deserve.

Gary - Great visual ...do you think that mouse running through the maze in your photo is from NY?  Some days that's exactly how I imagine myself getting from point A to point B.
