A door prize works for me. Gets them in the door.

Add value for people to stop by: door prizes, hot dogs & a soda, root beer floats worked for one AR member! Think WIFM (What's in it For Me) in an attandees eyes. Invite all the neighbors to get more foot traffic: interest breeds interest! Lots of signage/ballons as people driving around/by will then be intrigued and you are trying to get impulse decision shoppers not necessarily preplanned attendees.

Hi Morris, especially if the prize is the sellers door - that will bring anyone in anytime of the day!

Actually, I clicked on here hoping to get some ideas.  I have a book of free information that visitors can peruse through and sign up for - everything from hiring contractors to moving checklists, etc.  It helps me collect emails. Excellent question Kathleen!

Sarah's comment reminded me of what another realtor did. She got carboard popcorn containers and gave them out (with popcorn of course).  Who can resist that smell?  Especially when the whole street is full of people eating it!
