Imagination is the Key to Creating Your Dreams

Imagination is a funny thing.  Think about it, how many times have you thought about what you wanted or didn't want?  A bazillion times? You're thinking about that now, right?

Stop what you're doing, take a few moments out of your day and give this some thought...and imagination.

We all have about 60,000 thoughts every day.  What are you doing with 'your' 60,000 thoughts?   Are you creating good stuff or are you creating fear, dread and all the stuff you don't want?

Are you up for letting your resistance down and allowing all the good stuff to come to you?

Are you ready up the anti on imagination?

So what if you took, say 30,000 of 'your thoughts each and every day and super charged your dreams and desires by imagining them as you want them to be.

And you did this day after day, after day.......

Can you imagine what you'd be creating?  And what if you used 50,000 of 'your' thoughts every day and put them to good use?  Wow - can you imagine that?  Are you starting to get the picture here?  Can you feel it?

So let's bump this up another notch and say you're using all 'your' thoughts and putting them to good positive imagination. Super Charged Imagination!

Imagination works like this... The more you use your imagination surrounding a goal you want to accomplish the more likely-hood it will manifest itself.  At some point the goal starts to feel very familiar - so much so - that the next logical step comes easily and naturally.  And then, out of the 'blue' your goal is a living breathing reality.  You now feel jazzed, excited, enthusiastic and ready to create your next goal!

What started as a few thoughts turns into some pretty amazing feelings - and that's the combo that creates your dreams and goals. All you need to do - consciously - each and every day is be aware of where your imagination is going and how you're feeling.  It does take practice, practice and more practice. Don't drive yourself nuts if you find yourself going down a negative road. Simply shift and focus on good stuff until you're feeling better.  It's like the old lather - rinse - repeat commercial!

Super Charged Imagination.....go for it - you've only got everything to gain!

Warning: I have been a student of consciously choosing my thoughts for years. And look what happened to me! Just recently I've begun to really focus my thoughts and feelings (super charged imagination) and I am having a blast creating more than I ever have before.  I think Albert got it right!  Thanks Albert!

Yes, it has been a while.  I've been in a strange state for a couple of months now.  I've been really tired and seem to have lost interest in so many of the things I was working on and being a part of.  I think I started to feel overwhelmed and with me it's either "all or nothing", apparently I'm in the nothing stage right now.  :)  I've had writer's block.  I can't even come up with anything to post anymore....It's quite strange actually.  I'm hoping it will pass with a little more time.  See why your post was such a good one for me to read right now?  :)

There is a Buddhist thought about the lack of ownership that says, can you tell me what you were thinking fifteen minutes ago? You can't answer so we don't want our imagination to be harnessed by being proprietary with our thinking. What is put into motion is something that may be uniquely us, but it is a shared vision. Imagination works best when it collaborates and the audience responds.

Anna...What a great post.  Our mind (imagination) is a powerful thing.  We need to be sure to keep those thoughts focused on the positive and the opportunities are limitless.  Thanks for the positive boost!

Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can't, you're right. So might as well believe that we can. Right on Anna, thanks for the post.

Okay, Anna.  All this imagination talk is giving me a headache - gotta go lay down for awhile! ;)  Seriously, I love to let my imagination go.  It's really fun to watch someone else's excitement when their imagination takes flight, too.  I also believe that what we think and what we project is what we get back in return.  Great post.  Really enjoyed it.

Hey Ed - action is good but it begins with thoughts!!!  Albert sure had it right - and he was fun too!  Gee I wonder what we all have in common in this group!

Chanda - just write some fun stuff.  It'll come back........play and have fun for awhile.  That's what my tennis coach told me years ago when I was so so so tired for playing.  Let it go for awhile and watch how soon it'll come back to you!

Hmmm Joe you are a deep guy!  Nothing propeitary about my thinking..............intereting concept thou.  Imagination to me is great whether it's shared or not.  I'm really talking more about being really really aware of all the thoughts we have each and every day and 'listening' to what we're telling ourselves is so.  Fun game that sometimes sneaks up on me!

Carra - exactly. Great talking with you yesterday. Let me know if you friend needs help - there is a lot available for what she's thinking about!

Annette - yup the old saying 'if you think you can , you can' if you think you can't, you can't.

Adam - the more postive the better and when it's not SHIFT as fast as one can!  Uplevel...........

Pam -now that's an interesting thing to tell yourself!!  Yes it is great to see folks rock and rolling and having a blast with creation. We've got a great group that we have been part of for many years that is always on the edge of creation and it's always great to share what's happening.

Anna,

It took a day, since I've been RE Tech Southing, but imagination and believing you can make it happen make all the difference in the world.

I love the super charged imagination concept.  It aligns well with the glass half full, which works well for me.

All the best, Michelle

If I have 60,000 thoughts each day, that certainly explains why I'm always tired about 6:00 in the afternoon!

As Abraham Lincoln said, "Most people are about as happy as they choose to be".  We can either have happy thoughts or the other kind of thoughts.  It really IS up to us.  Thank you for the happy blog post!

Bananababydoll, I just saw you in R Mag (I know, I am slow) and came here to 'find' the video and post about it . . . and found this instead!

Not only is imagination the most powerful magic there is . . . but if you can 'invert your senses' and actually 'seefeeltastetouchsmell' what you're focused on in your mind . . . there is nothing you can't make happen.

Einstein was on to something . . . for shizzle. :)

Hi Candy - yes they put another little ditty in the REALTOR magazine.  You haven't seen the video?  I'll send you a link.  It was a blast.   I imagine you've read A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink - very interesting book packed full of all kinds of ideas.

Imagination is key - lots of folks just don't get that part.   SHIZZLE!!!!!!!

We may have to define "thought" because I'm absolutely sure that I don't have 60,000 thoughts a day! Do you think the evening margarita wipes away many of those thoughts? LOL

hahahahHAhahaha!  you are too funny!  And yes I'm thinking the margaritas just might wipe out a few or more thoughts!  so now you're down to....shall we say 50,0000?   Now what.......

Anna-  You are so right!  I also really believe that positive people draw positive things from life.  Life is too short to dwell on negative thoughts.  I have a fellow agent who seems to never be able to find joy in anything.  She always seems to be waiting for the next bad thing to come, and guess what?  It usually does, even if it's just how she sees it.  I always believe in taking negatives and turning them into positives.  It makes for a much happier life!  Thank you for reminding me!

Jen you're my kind of midwest gal!  It's so true that if you think bad things will happen, they will.  What a waste of energy.  Some folks just don't know how to work themselves out of bad thinking habits - and some folks get big payoffs for keeping them.

Just glad it's not us!
