Phone Applications Are Taking Over Real Estate Searching

By
Real Estate Technology with Realogy Holdings Co

Do yZipRealty's iPhone App allows users to instantly see homes for sale in the neighborhood theyou believe the internet is the "future" of real estate.  Well, you're right... that is, if you are living in 1987.  Do you have a functional website that allows users to surf an IDX and view homes from the MLS.  Congratulations, You are now living in 1999.  So what does it take to be current?

People are still trying to figure that out.  A social media strategy is crucial, but that's just one small piece of one's overall marketing stategy.

ZipRealty, Inc. (my broker) is certainly not sitting on the sidelines.  Our new iPhone application is one of the most downloaded applications on the system.  The application is discussed in this New York Times article that was just published.

One thing is clear.  Phone applications are the present.  If you don't provide one you need to, or you need to align yourself with a company that does.
