Bugged out in Wisconsin

By
Real Estate Agent with First Weber Hedeman Group

Have you seen these little bugs at your house yet this year? Asian beetles, they look like Lady Bugs. Now that the temps are rising in Wisconsin these guys are coming out everywhere. If they land on you they can bite and if you crush them they stink. The best option is to suck them up in your vacuum. They are a nuisance and don't add to a homes appearance at showings. Any ideas of how to get rid of these unwelcome guests.

I think you will be surprised how affordable the Dairyland is,

so come to my land of cows and plows and visit for a day, but stay for a lifetime

Scott:

These kinds of bugs can be annoying. The only positive feature about them is that they are an indication that spring is here.

Bugs do mean a sign of spring and like real estate every buggy situation is local.

Who knows perhaps there is a solution out there and your spear heading of a local student contest could make the bugs work for you. Good luck!

I'll trade you for the box elder bugs and (ugh!) stink bugs we have here!

My home was besieged by box elders on the exterior (like in your picture).  While harmless, they sure are annoying.  A call to a local exterminator and one short visit solved the problem.

Good luck!
