South Carolina's February unemployment rate remains at 12.5%

The unemployment rate for South Carolina remains above the national average.  There were increases in the following sectors which is a good sign if the trend continues:

- Retail Trade

- Leisure and hospitality

- professional and business services

- education and health services

- government

More jobs are slated to be created throughout this new from companies relocating.  Hopefully the unemployment rate will soon start to decrease which I think it will.

Aaron...being from Michigan with  our 14.2%, I can relate to your state's situation.  Where are all the jobs promised? Hope that they are not 'blowing in the wind' as the song states.  Like to see that your state had increases in other areas than public sector--that IS good news.
