Smithsonian Kite Festival. If you want to build a kite, bring a kite or just watch the fun, it is sure to be a day of fun watching the kite festival at the Washington Monument.
If you decide not go to attend the
Cherry Blossom Festival - Opening Day Events, you can still see them from a far.
If you haven't visited the
National Mall, the
Lincoln Memorial, or the
Jefferson Memorial, now is a great time to visit and see the
cherry blossoms at the same time. You may even decide to take a stroll by the
Washington Monument or the
White House.
