Don't underestimate the allure of Briargate for Your next Colorado Springs Home purchase. The Briargate area of Colorado Springs is a master-planned community, about 9,600 acres of residential properties, which is located just north of the northeast sector on the Pikes Peak MLS. Of note, Briargate offers easy access to I-25 for those who must travel to Denver for their employment.

Colorado Springs Realtors typically have many inquiries about the Briargate area because of its top quality homes, safe neighborhoods, recreational and entertainment centers (Briargate Family YMCA & Pine Creek Golf Course), as well as its high ranking Academy School District #20.

As for me, I’m drawn to The Promenade Shops at Briargate, which comprises some clothing boutiques, such as Gloss, Banana Republic and Ann Taylor. And to help satisfy my culinary indulgences, Williams & Sonoma offers everything I need to prepare that extra special meal for guests. If I don’t feel like cooking, it’s always nice to dine out at either Biaggi’s Italian Restaurant, PF Chang’s or Ted’s Montana Grill. And if grocery shopping is required, then I love to shop at WholeFoodsMarket – a great place to purchase specialty cuts of meat and organic foods.

In fact, if Gordon goes with me to WholeFoods, well then…I almost consider this a date, a prelude for kicking off of a great evening.

 

But back to Briargate. As a Colorado Springs Realtor, I’ve sold many homes in the Pine Creek and Cordera neighborhoods of Briargate. Each community has its own distinct personality, lacking nothing in regards to neighborhood amenities.

 

For February 2010, there were 25 sold listings at an average price of $262,723.00. The sales price to list price percentage was 97% with average time on the market of 100 days. Typically, this area has held its value because many people desire Briargate for their Colorado Springs Real Estate.

Regarding commercial real estate for this area, of recent, The Christian Bookseller’s Association 42,470 square-foot building located at 9240 Explorer Drive just sold for $3.6 million dollars, which was above its assessed value of $3.3 million dollars.

Briargate certainly is a great location to consider your next home purchase.
