http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2285/2257591973_0a9cf3dbbe.jpg?v=0Talk about an epiphany.  I did it with a Fishing Analogy, and stole a little bit from Visa too! (please don't tell anyone, lol)  I don't think that I should make this any elevator speech even though it worked once.  After writing it on paper, it sounds... well... almost Hillbilly in terms.

If you are reading this, please help me put it into better words, as I am going nuts on how to market my business that is all about Real Estate through social media marketing.

Okay here it is:

Today I received a call about what makes my service different.  Knowing that everyone is a price-shopper these days, it has been difficult to sell quality work with all of the do it yourself programs available out there.

Of course I went into a spiel about virtual tours and then realized halfway through the conversation, that with all of the services and advantages I have to offer, I am essentially a Virtual Assistant at Virtual Tour prices, and now the Agent has ordered 7 tours from us for next week!

_________

WARNING:  This is almost embarrassing that I actually used the Fish thing... Please don't poke fun.

"Here’s the “Fishing Analogy”:

Most virtual tours are like fishing with bait.  They sit in one spot and wait for one little bite.  Our Tours are like using a boat and several lures of the back, and we go where the active fish are at.  It’s simply an exposure game.  In other words…show what you have to more people, and you will get more results.

All companies that understand SEO, know that links to your site from other sources, and just mentions of their name from other places will yield results for them in Search Engine Placement.  Many times the results can be very indirect, while other times it is very obvious.  But this is an absolute and undeniable fact in all of the SEO industry.

Keep in mind that well over 84% of buyers will search for a listings online before even calling an agent to represent them.  Most of these buyers cannot access the MLS and don’t even know where to begin.  This means if you aren’t in as many places possible for them to find you, you are missing out as an agent, and any business of any type for that matter.  We have to be like Visa… Everywhere!

I like your analogy. So much of business success is related to exposure. It's the type of exposure that has changed over the years.
