By
Real Estate Agent with Max Broock Realtors

Making Home Affordable (MHA) just released an update to its Supplemental Directive 09-09 with some important clarifications for agents and participants in HAFA, in particular:

  • Increased homeowner assistance for short sale and deed-in-lieu of foreclosure transaction from $1,500 to $3,000
  • Bankruptcy issues
  • Vacating the property due to relocation
  • Lienholder information

Not sure why this was released on a Friday afternoon, but we'll continue to keep you posted on these developments as they happen. Check our official CDPE HAFA Resource Page for all the updates you need on HAFA.
