"At Home With Diversity" Certification Course Coming to WRA in Madison, Wisconsin on April 28, 2010

I'm pleased to announce that the NAR "At Home With Diversity" certification course will be offered at the Wisconsin Realtors Association (WRA) on April 28, 2010.

What's even more exciting is the low fee for this course.  Attendees will be charged just ten dollars for the entire one-day course!

Through the cooperation of our Wisconsin Realtors Association Equal Opportunity in Housing committee and the Wisconsin Realtors Association, we are able to offer this course at WRA for the first time.

REALTOR ERIC KODNER TO TEACH NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS "AT HOME WITH DIVERSITY" COURSE AT WRA ON APRIL 28

Madison, Wisconsin (March 22, 2010) - Wisconsin Realtor and real estate instructor Eric Kodner with Madeline Island Realty in LaPointe, Wisconsin will be teaching the At Home with Diversity certification course at Wisconsin Realtors Association (WRA) in Madison on April 28, 2010. The NAR-certified course addresses issues of diversity, fair housing and cultural differences among real estate consumers.

The Home with Diversity course is designed to help agents develop new skills for working with home buyers and sellers of all backgrounds. "America is becoming an increasingly multicultural society. The At Home with Diversity certification is an excellent way for agents to help provide more homeownership opportunities to people who might otherwise be closed out of the market," said Kodner.

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) developed the At Home with Diversity course in 1998 in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The day-long certification course is designed to meet the nation's fair housing commitment by educating and equipping Realtors with the tools they need to expand homeownership opportunities for the growing number of culturally-diverse buyers entering the housing market.

Real estate professionals who earn the At Home with Diversity certification also earn elective credit towards the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), the CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) and the PMN (Performance Management Network) designations.  For more information on the At Home with Diversity certification, visit www.realtor.org/diversity.
