Yesterday I wrote about the "Live Where you Work Program" that gives buyers $15,000 if they work at the University of Kentucky and buy a home in the qualifing geographical area.
Today I want to give a general overview of the prices of the homes that sell in this area and give some examples of homes that are currently on the market. There were sixteen homes that sold within the "Live Where You Work Program" within the past six months. The average home that sold was on the market 66 days. The selling price was an average of $273,815. There are currently 7 homes pending for sale and 24 active homes for sale in this program's geographical area.
Here are just a few of my favorite homes for sale in the University of Kentucky "Live Where You Work Program."
705 Cooper Drive - This cut stone home in the Montclair neighborhood is next to Chevy Chase. Buy this cape cod home near the University and virtually walk to everything.
