Car Wash and Girl Scout Cookies for the Troops a success.
The Car Wash benefiting the 
turned out to be a big success.
About half a dozen agents washed over 40 cars and since it was donations only (what was deemed fair by the washee) I don't have a final tally for the amount donated to the March of Dimes, but at a $5 minimum donation (most everyone gave more) we feel we went a long way towards helping the March of Dimes. We also sold hot dogs, donuts, coffee, water and soft drinks that increased the donation.
The Girl Scouts were also on hand selling cookies for their troop and cookies to be donated to the troops. Several cases were sold and we can't thank them enough for helping to make this a great fund-raiser.
I can tell you that I'm a little sore and pretty tired, but it was a day of fun, getting wet and and knowing that we've helped so many people. I look forward to participating in this event next year.
I'd like to thank everyone here at AR for their kind thoughts, well wishes, inquiries about the event and support. So for now it's a little Ben Gay and some much deserved sleep for me. Thank you all.
