Old Farm Ridge is a planned unit development/condominium subdivision located in the Lakewood neighborhood of Waterbury, CT, east of the Great Brook Reservoir.
Old Farm Ridge is unique in that it is the only condominium complex in Waterbury, CT which consists solely of single-family home colonial style condos. Each condo has its own yard space, garage and/or driveway, and is not attached to any other unit in the entire complex. There are 25 on Sage Drive, 22 on Sorrel Road, 2 on Tansy Drive and 2 on Grilleytown Road for a total of 51 units in the entire complex. The vast majority of them are owner-occupied.
The homes at Old Farm Ridge were built between 1992 and 1998, with two new condos built in 2006.
The Old Farm Ridge community is served by Regan Elementary School, located at 3031 North Main Street, North End Middle School, and Wilby High School, located at 460 Bucks Hill Road. Nearby is Lakewood Park, and the residents of Old Farm Ridge have their choice of shopping centers to use – Waterbury Plaza on Chase Avenue to the north, or Mattatuck Shopping center to the east, along Waterbury’s Magical Retail Mile on Wolcott Road.
