Senior living, senior relocation and senior transiton is a much needed service to both the senior and the family of the senior. It can be a very emotional time for everyone. Above and Beyond offers this service. We offer consultation, planning, organizing, packing, and moving arrangements. We will ready the present residence for sale and organize the new residence for move in. As home stagers, we have been called by a snow bird couple who were just ready to go back north to Boston and sell thier property in Delray. They did not want to take anything with them, just go. And they did. We arranged for the donation of furniture and items no longer needed. We made the repairs needed to the home and made it ready for sale. This is just one example of many how Above and Beyond Home Staging and Re-design can be of service to the senior community.
We have snowbirds everywhere here in Phoenix. We have to watch out when the come back to town for their driving. But they buy winter homes and are an important part of the community fabric. Good points in the article.

Bryan, I know what you mean. Here in South Florida the traffic gets pretty crazy in season. But you are correct they come, purchase nice homes and condos, Enjoy the weather and love to shop.
we are finding the greater need for this service in the Montreal area as well. Home Harmony loves to work with seniors, they have a wonderful sense of humor and great stories to tell ... unfortunately family members often don't have the time or patience to listen.
Liz, You are so right. It is sad that alot of senior have so much to share and no one to share with. I have been in many homes and looked at pictures of years gone by.
