Let's face it....things happen in our lives that we have no control over. The only control we have is in the way that we react to what happens around us. New Beginnings is a poem that I wrote in 1997 and am finding that I can only control how I react to circumstances. My hope is that someone would get some good out of reading this.
New Beginnings
The wind blows across the land
to become the breath of your plan.
Go to the place where danger lurks
to find the answers for all your quirks.
The night lurks behind the day
Only to come out in a different way.
The day comes before the night
Only to stay until twilight.
Come here and let
me see
The dawn of a new me.
The "me" I used to know
Has vanished into the glistening snow.
The newness of me has opened wid
To guide me into the world I now abide!
