There are quite  a few fine locally owned and operated restaurants here is Hershey that offer good value and fine dining:

The Campbelltown Cafe is located on US Rte 322 (Governor Road) about 3 miles east of town. Even though it's named for a nearby town, it actually is here in Derry Township. The restaurant is open from 7AM to 8PM weekdays and 9PM weekends. For dinner, all entrees are priced below $20 and the food is terrific.

Fire Alley is located at 1144 Cocoa Avenue (Rte 743) about a mile or so south of the center of town. The restaurant is open 11:30 AM to 10PM weekdays, 11PM on Friday and Saturday and is closed on Monday

The Hershey Pantry is located at 801 East Chocolate Avenue. Always busy, the restaurant opens at 6:30PM and stays open until 9PM Monday through Saturday.

The Union Canal House is located on South Hanover Street in the Village of Union Deposit and is only about a mile or so north of the Hershey attractions. There was a tavern at this location even before there was a United States, as the location was across from a frontier fort call Fort Swatara. It later became a stop on the Pennsylvania Canal which connected the Susquehanna Valley with the big city markets of the northeast.  The restaurant is open for dinner from 5PM to 10PM Monday through Saturday. The dining room is closed on Sunday.

The What If Cafe is located at 845 East Chocolate Avenue. This restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and is the sister restaurant for the What If Cafe in Harrisburg.

Fenicci's Restaurant has been at the present location in the center of town since 1935. Originally called DeAngelis Restaurant, the Fenicci family operated the restaurant until recently when it was purchased by Phil Guamo. My favorite here is the Upside Down Pizza, but the restaurant has great Italian and American favorites to satisfy everyone's taste. Fenicci's is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and from 4PM Saturday and Sunday
