Pelican Bay has a unique tram system to take members with proper Pelican Bay Foundation I.D. through the Berm and to the gorgeous Pelican Bay Beach.
If you're headed for a swim, to watch the sunset, or to enjoy the delicious offerings at The Sandbar, The Sandpiper or The Sunset Cafe, you can definitely ride in style on these fun trams.
There are 8 designated tram stations, which you may go to by tram, as well, as connections - whether you are going to the North or South Pelican Bay beach. Friendly drivers will assist you in planning a fast and fun ride to your destination, but beware of "peak times" such as dinner, sunset, etc.
Tram safety includes the following rules:
* Parents or an accompanying adult should ride with children under age 12.
* Parents utilizing strollers must fold them and keep them withing the tram roofline during the tram ride.
* Before boarding or getting off the tram, members and guests should wait for the tram to come to a complete stop.
