We all have very busy lives but as we all know it is hard to juggle career and home life sometimes. No matter how busy I am no matter how much my clients may need me, my home life and my family will always come first!

Take the time to enjoy your family, that's what I always say. I love my kids and I love Real Estate, but I always make sure to have quality time with my family. I am not saying I am the only one out here that feels that way I am just expressing my thoughts.

It's not easy to be a full time agent and full time Mom but hey- we need to make money to put food on the table. We all do we are not all born into a pot of gold.

The way I see it, like your work, love your family. That is the attitude I keep because someday the kids will be grown and off to their own lives. Real estate will always be here and will always need agents.

It is possible to have the best of both worlds, have a great career and still be a great mother and wife!

That is my thought of the day-

Great advice, but sometimes it is easier to convince the family why you don't have time than a client. This does not mean that we don't love our family just that doing whatever takes to balance the career and the family life.

Your children will only be young once, we need to enjoy those years while we can...when they get older you will never be able to recapture the younger years, no matter how much you try.  Family, always first!

Maureen:  You are absolutely CORRECT!  I've gotten off balance before.... and stuff just did not happen as i expected because i was OUT OF BALANCE!  There is definitely an order, or we will never become truly successful!  I am in agreement with you, and commend and thank you for writing it!

I agree with you all- it is very easy to get off balance and slip to the dark side per say....LOL but I feel i tis important  to remind yourself each time you feel like the career is overcoming your personal time and life!
