My presentation at the Houston Association of Realtors' REIS

How exciting! Houston is a lot of fun...hopefully you will be able to relax a little too and visit with the friendly people.

It always surprises me that I very often get something along the lines of  "thanks for responding so quickly" after I quickly answer a prospect's email. Agents should know that immediacy is an important first step in building trust with a prospective client as it shows you are a responsible agent and one who is dedicated to your profession. 

Spencer, that is a great presentation and confirms what I knew in my gut about internet buyers.

I had a closing yesterday and at the end the buyers (my clients) said to me, "how do you do it?" You get back to us so fast and are always available.

His wife a nurse was there, and I said, it is just like a Dr. We don't need them ALL the time, but when we do we want them to be there. People don't buy houses all the time but when they are they need our immediate attention.

I have always said the problem is not the amount of leads we get but how we handle them. Call quick, follow up and never give up.
