Holy Multiple Offers Batman!

I listed a property last week, and we just got done presenting offers tonight.  It was fantastic!

We sat down and the first agent came in to present.  She's a dear friend of mine, and also from the company across the road (major competitior!).  She began to present, and my client just about fell out of his chair!

After she left, he sat in shock, because the offer was higher than list price.  I said "It's multiple offers, and you have three more to go.  That's what happens in multiples."

Cute.  He didn't even think his property was worth that much!

He will let me know his decision tomorrow.  I'm very excited for him.  I think it will go well!  :)

Also, I think it's pretty cool.  I just sold a house in two weeks!  YAY ME!

Good for you

Enjoy it while you can, it  will not last unfurtunally. The best way to work a market like that would be by working with as many sellers as you can.  Good luck to you!

Anne- Thanks!  We've seen a few lately!

Carmen - I don't know, things seem to be picking up around good ol' Mora.  I have been crazy busy this last month!  :)

Here in southern Ontario the market is very good so we see several multiple offers. It astounds me how high some of the sale prices are on multiple offers.

As Homer Simpson would say, "Woooo HOOOO!"

p.s. - always nice to see a RE/MAX agent doing well!

that's fantastic but,

you'll have to have a session with your seller so he can work on his poker face

Congrats...that means you obviously priced it right....   make sure that all the offers are looked at on merit and not just price....  terms condiiton, financing and down payment ..

In my market I've seen mulitple offers start playing a roll again for the past few months.. .  like everyone else that had died out about 2 years ago...

Way to go!  Keep it up and may all of your listings be multiples!

Wayne - I just saw one go $15,000 more than list.  Holy cow!

Toby - Thanks!   RE/MAX Rocks!

Jay - He actually did keep a straight face until she looked away.  It was hilarious!  I had coached him on it and he did a great job!  LOL!

Desiree - I wrote down all the important details - money down, financing, pre-approval, closing costs, etc.  He took them all home to make up his mind!

Darrel - I think the market is kind of bouncing back!

Shawn - September 4th!  Woo hooo!

David - I wish!  We need to do a multiple offer dance!
