Going on a Safari? Not me....

By

I only wish I was going on a "real" Safari, I would sign up right now. But, I'm talking web browser, Safari. I'm done. I keep forgetting that I done with it and then I use and have so many problems. Everytime I try to post a comment on someone's blog, I get a message that I have to make a comment before I can post a comment. Duh?! Now I admit that most nights when I am here online it is very late my time(CT). and I am usually very tired., but I know when I make a comment, I really did type words and time in whatever bizarre secret word that the RainGods have chosen just to keep us confused and on our toes, or quickly accessing Dictionary.com to figure out what the heck THAT means?! Or as I say to my daughter in high school , here's a new SAT Prep Vocab word for you!!

So tell me is anyone but me having big problems with Safari. I'm moving on to the Fox, Firefox, that is.....

I love my macbook but real estate does not work with mac. So I added parallels and I can run two os so i can do real estate on my mac. I would not trade my mac for nothing.

Rhonda - you can't add pictures to your posts or do bold text with Safari.  I use Firefox and have no problems.  Good luck.

Safari does not play well with Active Rain for some reason - and it SHOULD - there's no reason to have a compatibility problem.  But I just use Camino (the Mac... and better version... of Firefox). Works flawlessly.

Rhonda, I am WAY behind you, I don't know what it is!  But I'm glad I didn't try it, if a site isn't "user friendly" I have a difficult time!

Tracy, I can not begin to tell you the time I have wasted and the frustration I have felt trying to get things to work in Safari! I'm all about Firefox now!

Fred, Never heard of Camino. I will look into that, thanks for the tip. And by the way love the signature. I want one of those! Too cool!

Carole, Safari isn't a site, it is a web browser. You open that to access the internet. I'm sure a tech person would define it better than I could. You aren't behind, there is just so much to learn and try to keep up with....and as soon as you think you've got it, it changes!

I absolutley loved Firefox, then recently I lost my bookmark folder TWICE and now its gone crazy since I started using Skype. I'm humbly back with IE...grudgingly!

Agnes, I never heard of Skype, but my husband just told it's like AOL. So much to keep up with! I feel like I don't have time to sleep!

Switching to Firefox solved all of my issues with Active Rain - especially the photo posting, which was driving me totally nuts.
