I am ready for the next 90 days and expect to have my growth be exponential rather than just mathematical. Meaning explosive growth because I have been priming the pump with delivering information on a very consistent basis to my clients and prospects. With the Active Rain challenge to post about hype local events I am re-calibrating the content I will be delivering. Over the next several months and beyond I will be gathering and delivering content about my area and our industry that hopefully is useful to the audience. I will know right away because people will be engaged in the conversation and participating, or not. The tale will be in the numbers.
With the internet you can actually count the numbers of all kinds of activities. I tend to be pragmatic here. I want to actually count the number of closings, which mean commissions. To get to that point I need to count listing presentations and signed buyer’s rep agreements. To get to that point I need to count phone calls, direct marketing and internet posting that get commented on, re-blogged, and followed. To get to that point I need to wake up and pay attention to my time blocked activities. If my time blocked activity says make 20 calls, then 20 it is and make sure that you complete the task. It is always about what you do and not what you are thinking of doing, hoping to do, or wishing you were doing.
I want to be a vital resource to my community about all kinds of important information. Real Estate is not just about the houses, but also the homes and the people who live in them. It is a live and constantly changing organism that will always show you something new as it continues its traditions. This will be fun to explore and share. Thank you for reading and participating.

Hi Larry ~ We had a huge power surge in the neighborhood during the rain that knocked out our computers for 24 hours. It was very interesting to see what sorts of things I accomplished (or didn't!) during that time. I've never time blocked but I'm beginning to like the idea of it.
