Check out these pictures of some wild & wacky staircases, or at least I think that's what most of them are.  It can be safe to assume that these properties are not habited by small children or the elderly, wouldn't you agree?  Me and my wife/business partner/boss especially like the plant/tree/vine - like handrail.   We can only dream about it, however, because we have 3 small children.  Oh well, probably couldn't afford them anyway (:

Wow. Artistic. Wacky. Non-functional. Inspiring. All are indeed interesting. Would I want to try and climb most of them? I don't think so!

Joshua, Interesting web site.  Some of the stairs were beautiful, others weird.  I like the ones that used the steps for storage. Great idea.

Now that is interesting.  I can't imagine taking a tumble on a few of those. Ouch!

Thanks for sharing!

Linda:  I don't think I would want to try some of those as well.  On some, I can't even tell where the first step is!  LOL

Diane:  I agree with the storage idea.

Corey:  It seems as if tumbling would be a common theme for most of these staircases.

Thanks for stopping by & commenting, y'all.

The imagination of the designers seems to be endless.  I really like the stairs that double as drawers - very practical.

Tom:  Indeed.  The drawers are a great idea, however, when junior decides to leave one open, they then may pose a slight trip/fall hazard  (:

In spite of how beautiful so many of them are, most, if not all, of them, would never pass safety muster. Those multicolored, psychedelic ones have my head spinning. Definitely couldn't look at that every day.
