I am a homeowner/resident on the border of Reunion Colorado and I am also a Realtor. I recently walked the Reunion neighborhood to make the residents aware of a website that I had set up for them to get a free Market Snapshot of Reunion Home Values and Trends. As I was walking the neighborhood and talking with the residents I became conserned on how many people said, "Oh, I am just renting, but I am concerned because this house is going to go into foreclosure."
Reunion! I am here to say, that if you are behind on your payments, if your home is worth less than you owe, and it looks like foreclosure is iminent, give me a call. So many people have been scared of the words Short Sale and it makes me confused to why that is. I think that people are scared of Short Sales because of the horror stories they have heard from miscellaneous people of what those people think they know. Let me assure you that a Short Sale is not as bad as one might think. Sure they are time consuming and not all Short Sales are successful, but ask yourself what the other option is? A forclosure is the worst thing that could happen to your credit and financial life. Let me repeat, a foreclosure is the worst thing you could do to yourself.
