I went up to Lake Chelan with my family and the neighbors a couple of weekends ago. We rented two 3-seater Wave runners for a half day and we had all the riding we wanted. Chelan is a great place to play in the sun. It feels to me like the Chelan Real Estate market is hovering, waiting to take off again.  I am not a market genius, but I have visited almost every major mountain resort town in the Western US.  In my opinion, Chelan will always be gorgeous because it is subject to the most stringent Growth Management (as far as I know), so those hillsides will never be completely filled in.  I think that once a few more amenities show up (Championship Golf, restaurants, etc) the prices will soar.

If you want to buy a piece of the Lake Chelan lifestyle and are looking for an aggressive agent, I like Jeff Hallman. Jeff is aggressive, but he will be totally honest about values. If a property is overpriced; he'll tell you- even if you are the one selling it. Some agents are energetic but are so slick you feel like you're being sold a used car. Jeff is energetic and honest.  At our bank we often lend on unique properties in Lake Chelan, and I always trust Jeff to give me some good comparables to help us make a decision.  He is an expert on Lake Chelan Real Estate.

If you have never been to Chelan or haven't been for awhile, get up there this summer and enjoy some sunshine, a beautiful lake and check out some of the local small wineries.

I'm currently lending on several lake Chelan land and construction projects, and I love it every time I have to go up there for an inspection, its so relaxing.
