Anticipate alot activity as April approaches. I know. I know. I should've wrote this blog like a week or so ago. And I wanted to title this blog "Anticipate a lot of activity from home buyers as April approaches". But I wanted all the word in the title to be A's. Now that spring is here-Yeah! and it is finally warm again,(We need it after all that snow we got)many anxious ready,willing and able home buyers want to come out of hiding and start looking at houses with us-the real estate agents.
One of the reasons why many home buyers want to look at houses now is because they won't to make sure they don't miss out on the $8000 home buyer tax credit. Just a remainder for the first home buyer who is too busy working five jobs-LOL. (It's hard out here),you must have a house under contract by April 30th and close on June 30th in order to cash in on that big $8 G's. I sure can use $8,000 right about now.
And we "The real estate agents" have to be very prepared to educate and assist our clients(many of them who are clueless about the home buying process) in making the best sound investment in their lives. Meaning if you have many home buyers now,more are bound to come soon which is a great thing. But it is not a great thing if I have like 10 QUESTIONS TO ASK THE SHORT SALE LISTING AGENT BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER and yet you are not picking up your phone,something that I am experiencing right now. And not only is the listing agent not picking up their phone,but their assistant is too busy to pick up the telephone.
Here is a little message to all the big shots real estate agents who are too good to pick up their telephone. If you don't pick the telephone guess what,they are going to find a real estate agent (like me)who will answer their telephone. Now I understand that you are not always going to pick up your telephone as soon as it rings-I really understand. But can you call me back in at least an hour or so instead of a week-What's up with that?
So be ready. Because there are more home buyers coming like 5,000 single ladies bum rushing you at a midnight department store sale just to get their hand on their favorite wedding gown even though there is only like 1500 in stock.
(Singing: "All the single ladies. All the single ladies"-Please don't be mad at me. I still love you all) I don't know about you but I am ready. And I am ready to take on more PG County MD,Charles County,St.Mary's County and DC home buyers. So anticipate alot activity from home buyers as April approaches. I wish I can have more home buyers come storming into my office looking for me to represent them as their real estate professional just like these beautiful ladies stormed into the store during Filene's Basement Running of the Brides.
