Good luck and congratulations to you and for your recent realization. Knowledge and degrees and designations mean diddly squat without application and using them to improve the lives of others.

Disignations are a great way to get recognition and stand out from your fellow professionals in the business. However; the general public hardly ever knows what any of these mean, but once explained it gives you some degree of credibility.

I agree with Adell 100%. Even if the public doesn't recognize it, if you are up against your competitors it gives you more leverage. But it also makes you feel good inside on what you have accomplished in our industry and you show them that you have taken the time and money and reinvested back into your profession that you care so much about. That is why the tenure of a Realtor is very short. We all need to invest to make ourselves stronger, and with today's technology and all of the changes in the large quantity of venues out there, it is more important than ever. Best wishes.
