Sorry, I just had to ask . . . I walked through the store and saw the aisle full of Easter candy yesterday . . . and that was the blazing thought on my mind.

Who buys all these Peeps?

Who would ever eat Peeps?

Then I saw this photo . . .

That is so cute! I've never eaten or bought a peep myself, but may get some for decorating.

This is so embarrassing!!!!!! I thought my comment didn't go through so I kept clicking. It's not that I think my wisdom is so compelling. Sorry.

Recently one of my fellow "mature" agents taught me to nuke the peeps.  Now I am passing on the wisdom to the rest of our office-I'm supplying the peeps!!  Someone(who wasn't hovered around the mic) actually asked why we would blow up a peep!! Listening to the explanation was the best laugh I've had in months.

Congratulations on being featured, Margaret.  Did you ever think this would be such a hot topic?

I always thought peeps were disgusting - but these are downright cute.

Before I became a realtor I was in the printing business. The company I was with printed the catalog for Just Born the manufacturer of Peeps. We loved Peeps.

Oh man, I love peeps. Can't keep me away. Cadbury eggs too!  I love easter. Got a sweet tooth? Just eat your kid's candy. Did I really just say that? LOL

I'm another fan of the stale peeps.  I haven't ever seen one in the microwave but after this post, now I have to try the sword fight.  That sounds like it is so funny!

very clever and inexpensive too ... lollipops would make it a totally edible and colour treat.

What an adorable idea Maragret!  My daughter requests peeps every year - can't say I am a fan. :)

Its the day after Easter and I'm heading out to see if I can find some discounted peeps so I can make this cute  arrangement next year!  I'll have to buy an extra pack and try them stale and microwaved!

I love Peeps, I buy my kids Peeps for their Easter baskets, just so I can have them. I know they love them, but they have to be quick or I'll eat them all.

Another peep lover here - really cute centerpiece and as I glanced through your replies (I did not read many of them - there were so many!) I realized that I'm not the only one who also loves them a bit stale.  The first thing I do when I buy them is cut the wrapper open so they begin to firm up a bit....

haha!  I just read through a few more of the commentors and apparently STALE peeps are the best way to have them... that and microwaved until near explosion.. how funny.  I don't dare try that last one though....

I stopped by the store today and got peeps at half price and jelly beans for 25 cents a pound.  I'm putting these away until next year and then will make some darling centerpieces!

I know I'm late to the party on this post, but how could I not respond?  As a junk food-a-holic, you'd think I'd like them, but it's a little too marshmallow overload for me.  My kids, on the other hand, try to jam as many in their mouth as humanly possible.  Oh, to be 4 years old again...
