Tanglewood Subdivision on Lake Sinclair!

Tanglewood Subdivision is one of the few site built only subdivisions on Lake Sinclair.  It's located just off Twin Bridges Road, right around the corner from Twin Bridges Marnia and just a half mile from Twin Bridges fire department.  It's location is convenient to not only Eatonton and Milledgeville if you turn right on Twin Bridges if you leave the subdivision, but also to Macon if you turn left and head over and take US Route 129 south through Gray.

Currently just 3 homes are listed in the MLS in this subdivision because of it's convenient location.  One of these homes is not on Lake Sinclair, but having the marina just around the corner still makes it easy and convenient to enjoy Lake Sinclair.  The other two listings are right on  the water.  All lots in Tanglewood Subdivision are fee simple.  The part of Lake Sinclair that Tanglewood Subdivision is located on is Little River and Bear Creek.  The water is great and you are on the "big" side of the lake from the two bridges that cross Little River and Bear Creek.  These bridges are a point of contention with some boaters from time to time when the water levels are up some boats can not fit under these bridges.  So Tanglewood Subdivision being on the south and west side of these bridges is a great benefit to being on the big part of the lake.  You can easily boat to Choby's or Bone Island Grill for dinner and not worry about any bridges keeping you from boating back home.

Tanglewood Subdivision only has two streets and both are cul-de-sacs which keeps traffic down to a minimum, mostly only homeowners.  It's located in Putnam County, which has one of the lowest property taxes in the state.  In 2009 the millege rate was just 15.90.  County water is also now available in this area and fire hydrents were recently added to the street for the added fire protection.  And it's a very friendly neighborhood.  I was over in that area this morning to take photos for this post and several of the home owners were out walking and stopped by to chat with me as I was taking photographs.  One gentleman even insisted I walk down to his dock to take the photo of the marina just across the water.  He told me he just didn't want me stopping on the side of the road as I had previously intended to do.

Lake Sinclair is over 15,000 acres with 417 miles of shoreline.  Not only is Tanglewood Subdivision convenient to driving to shopping,  it's also just across the water from Twin Bridges Marina making boat repairs, fueling and bait and tackle for fishing convenient also.  And it's a lovely boat ride to get to any of the three on water resturants where you can dock your boat while you have dinner.  You will be the envy of all your friends when you they know you can take a boat ride to dinner.  Duke's, Choby's Landing and Bone Island Grill offer a variety of food and entertainment.  All can be just minutes from your dock if you buy on water in Tanglewood Subdivision on Lake Sinclair.

Hey, I'd love to take a boat to dinner at night. Tanglewood at Lake Sinclair sounds like a great place to live and raise a family. After a hard day at work, to come home, jump in the boat and go fishing sounds delightful.

Hi Tammy, I'm with Elizabeth on this one.  The neighborhood sounds lovely, but taking a boat ride out to dinner just sounds like pure, relaxing fun.
