The Pleasantview Subdivision of Naugatuck Ctis on the extreme east side of town on the border of Prospect Ct. The subdivision is bounded by Horton Hill Rd and with entry to the subdivision from Bluebird Dr. The subdivision is bounded to its rear by a public watershed area. 

The subdivision consists entirely of single family homes many of them started in the early 1970's with some newer homes added at the very rear of the subdivision in 2008.

The home style here consists of mostly ranch style homes with an occasional cape or colonial. Currently there are 8 homes for sale within the subdivision with a range in values between $155,000 to $222,000.

The school district for this area is the Maple Hill Elementary School, located on 641 Maple Hill Rd, which services grades K-4. From here the Intermediate school is Cross, with progression to Naugatuck High School

The Pleasantview Section of Naugatuck Ct has the convenience of the second largest shopping district in Naugatuck on New Haven Ave. There can be found restaurants, grocery stores, general department stores and even a Super Walmart.

There are also several auto parts stores, in addition to medical facilities.

There is access to athletic fields and a very active youth sports program that gets involved with the other areas of Naugatuck. The sports programs are seasonal with baseball, soccer and basketball, in addition to a flag football league. 

Highway access is easy from this area, with a short 25 minute commute to the city of New Haven Ct and 30 minutes to the Bridgeport Ct area.
