The other evening one of our neighbors came to the door...had we heard that the house..over the meadow and thru the woods had been sold for OVER asking...maybe it did....we could only say that MLS reported it as "active with offer"...interesting he would "know" the amount paid for a property not yet closed....but then there are real estate experts everywhere.

All those updates could save the buyer a ton. Sounds like a good deal to me...

We're seeing that on homes priced at and an inch below the comps...that's on homes that are updated and in reasonable condition!

I love it when someone tells me that they got a good deal, paying $50,000 under the asking price. Of course, they don't know that I have easy access to the public records, and when I check the public records, I find that they paid $50,000 over asking price after all the bidding wars were over. LOL
Gotta wonder what market statistics would look like if they were what everyone SAYS they were....now there's a real housing crisis !
