Rates are Going Up

By
Mortgage and Lending with Prospect Mortgage

Hello All,

I just thought I would share with you what was released over 4 months ago about the Fed's action to withdraw from the MBS market and how it would affect our market rates.  So with the Fed finally exiting the MBS market at the end of March, we will finally see where rates should really be. You have to remeber, you can't fool investors even with political pressure and foolish MBS buying programs.  The real movers of rates will now have their day.   Which means, investor want their rate of return for their risk.  So watch for rates on the rise. Thanks again for reading and have a Happy Easter.  God Bless.

David, you have a blessed Easter as well.  And, not suprised at all about the rates.  It was just a matter of time.  I remember the 80's rates though!

I think you are right.  It is a good thing to tell buyers now who are waiting on the fence.  Today, the most important thing is the cost of funds.  This is a great time to purchase a  home.

I did my best to get those buyers the most information like this and those that acted quickly were the one's who will benefit before these rates increase!

Thanks,

Tom Davis

I don't work on speculation.  I agree with Andrew's statement.  You play the cards that are dealt to you, and every so often throw a couple of the cards out and eventually you will get a full house :>)

Thank you all.  Rates have moved up recently and your clients depend on you as a professional to share the consequences of this movement with them.
