Spring in The Lake Tahoe Region.....
Well the calendar says Spring but looking outside it sure looks and feels like the dead of winter. The National Weather Service has issued a winter Storm Warning for up to 2 feet of snow tonight (Easter) with high winds and blowing snow making travel interesting tonight. Oh well....spring will arrive in the High Sierra as it always does and winter will be a distant memory...for a few months! Having lived at Lake Tahoe since 1981 I have one tried and true rule: Never fire up the snow blower after April 1 no matter how much it snows. I broke that rule yesterday!
