Affordable Neighborhoods in North Evergreen CO

Looking for Affordable Neighborhoods in North Evergreen?  This might seem to be an impossible task, and affordable is a matter of your perspective, but it is not impossible to live in the area and still stay within your budget.

Although there are many high priced neighborhoods in Evergreen such as Hiwan, if you are patient and look carefully at homes in these Affordable Neighborhoods, you will eventually find a great home that you can afford on the north side of the stoplight.

Hiwan Hills:  This is one of my favorite Affordable Neighborhoods in North Evergreen because the location is excellent, only a mile or two from downtown and Evergreen Parkway, with views from many of the lots.  It is possible  to find great buys in Hiwan Hills in the low $300's - mid $400's if you are patient.  However,  homes in Hiwan Hills don't last long, so if you see one you like, by all means make an offer!

Troutdale:  Another North Evergreen neighborhood with a spectacular location, Troutdale sits less than a mile from Evergreen Lake and the golf course, right behind the North side of Dedisse Park.  This is a smaller neighborhood with a family atmosphere, and plenty of homes in the mid to upper $400's

Wah Keeney Park:  You can find bargains in this Affordable Neighborhood located in the Lewis Ridge area in North Evergreen.   The eclectic area has a wide range of home prices and sizes, but plenty of choices for families on a budget.

El Pinal:  This is one of the most Affordable Neighborhoods, with many homes in the $300's.  The reason for the lower values is that most of the neighborhood has sparse tree cover, making way to wind which batters the area.  However, you will find incredible views from El Pinal, and a newly build park, the largest public park in North Evergreen, is located in El Pinal.

Hilltop:  Hilltop contains a wide variety of homes and you will find bargains here.  However, beware that many areas in Hilltop have very small lots with homes close together, a rarity in Evergreen.  If you don't mind that, this is a very Affordable Neighborhood.

Evergreen West/ Stagecoach:  This is a very large area with many homes with large lots and great views.  However, the location of most of Evergreen West is the farthest from conveniences of most other North Evergreen neighborhoods, hence the lower home prices.  Much of this Affordable Neighborhood is located in Clear Creek County, but that's not all bad because the state's best elementary school, King Murphy, is located in this area.
